In tandem with the big article on Hyper-V in Windows Server 2016 I wrote a piece on System Center 2016 as it applies to virtualization. Read it here.

This article covers VMM in-depth, the support for orchestrating the upgrade from 2012 R2 to 2016, creating storage spaces direct clusters, storage replica, software defined networking and shielded VMs. There’s also a bit on support for VMware and a bit on the other System Center products.

Enjoy! And thanks for reading.

A long time ago I reviewed a tool called PDT, PowerShell Deployment Toolkit for 4Sysops, (it’s a funny name since it doesn’t actually deploy PowerShell, it deploys System Center 2012 / 2012 R2). It’s now been furnished with a GUI by a couple of people in Germany and it works quite well – read all about it here.

Enjoy! And thanks for reading.

It took a while but my review of System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 is now live on Redmond Magazine’s page – read it here.

Enjoy and thanks for reading.

Just caught this one, again missed it. It was published sometime last month. Read the review here. This is the product I’ll be presenting a session about at this year’s TechEd on the Gold Coast.

Enjoy! And thanks for reading.
