Wow – I thought there was about three people in the world reading my blog – as it turns out it’s a lot more than that. Pretty cool.
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 3,900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 7 years to get that many views.

Even though the virtualization review.com site calls it “Hyper-V 3 Deep Dive” (and Microsoft doesn’t use the “version 3” moniker) this is indeed the second part of my deep dive on Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012. This time around I cover Software Defined Networking (SDN) and how SCVMM 2012 SP1 helps out with this, and how you might need a Network Virtualization Gateway. Read it here.
Enjoy! And thanks for reading.
The first part in an nine part, deep dive, series on what’s new in Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012 is now live on virtualizationreview.com. The first eight parts will cover individual, technical enhancements, whilst the last part will compare Hyper-V to VMWare’s VSphere 5.1.
In this part I cover the extensible virtual switch, along with other networking enhancements. You can read the article here.
